Jan 29, Kathmandu - Top Division League New Road Team (NRT) has comfortably defeated Sankata Club 3-1 in the National League.

Kritisratna Chhunju and Timothy Okereke scored one goal each to give NRT the victory at the ANFA headquarters in Satadobato on Thursday (Magh 15). NRT received one goal and an own goal. Sankata's Krishna Bahadur scored another goal.

KRITIS gave NRT the lead in the 10th minute. NRT received an own goal in the 51st minute.

Sankata's Krishna scored in the 55th minute to bring the team back to 1-2. Okereke added a goal in the 66th minute to secure the team's victory.

With the win, NRT has added 13 points in the competition. NRT has absorbed this result with four wins and one loss in five games. Sankata, who lost, has five points.
