Jan 29, Kathmandu - CPN-UML Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that there will be no surrender on the issues of nationality, sovereignty, national security and self-respect.
Oli said this during a discussion with experts from various thematic fields for suggestions to prepare a manifesto in the context of the election of members of the House of Representatives.
According to the head of the party's publicity department, Min Bahadur Shahi, Oli said that his party will resist, counterattack and defend to protect nationality, sovereignty, national security and other issues.
Stating that the defense of nationality, sovereignty, national security and self-respect cannot be done through surrender, Chairman Oli said that resistance, counterattack and defense will be carried out to protect it. In addition, Chairman Oli emphasized that no surrender will be acceptable,' a statement issued by Shahi quoting Chairman Oli said.
He also informed that his party is closely monitoring the activities and actions of the current state mechanisms.
"The government has not been able to create an environment to conduct the elections in a fair, free and rigged manner to this day," said Chairman Oli in a statement issued by Shahi.
He also said that the party is preparing a manifesto to fulfill the aspirations of the Nepali people for prosperity and happiness through the country's prosperity, good governance and sustainable development, keeping the country as its first priority.
"The CPN (UML) is preparing to bring out a manifesto by including practical programs that can be achieved concretely in five years," said a statement issued by Shahi.
