Jan 30, Kathmandu - Prime Minister Sushila Karki has said that the country is standing at a historic turning point of change today due to the courage, awareness and determination of the martyrs.

In her congratulatory message issued today on the occasion of Martyrs' Day, she expressed her heartfelt tribute to all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for civil freedom and democracy.

In her message, Prime Minister Karki emphasized that the responsibility of building a state based on governance values, ethics and respect for citizens should always be in the memory of every ruler.
