According to SP Gautam Mishra of the District Police Range, Lalitpur, the body of the deceased was found lying on the bed. According to preliminary investigations, both of them had consumed alcohol. Preliminary investigations have shown that Binade Pakhrin killed his wife using a cigarette due to an argument after consuming alcohol.
