Jan 30, Kathmandu - District 325 K of Lions Clubs International (MD 325) organized an eye donation and blood donation program in observance of Shahid Day. The event was led by Lions Club of Kathmandu Vision Circle, in collaboration with Lions Club of Kathmandu Makhapokhari and Parbat Kusma Society Kathmandu.

The program took place on Friday, Magh 16, at the Tilganga Eye Institute premises. Technical support for the event was provided by Paropakar Maternity and Women’s Hospital and Tilganga Eye Institute.

The organizers stated that the event was dedicated to paying tribute to martyrs while promoting active citizen participation in humanitarian service, health awareness, and life-saving activities.

They emphasized that eye donation can restore sight to visually impaired individuals, and blood donation can make invaluable contributions during emergency treatments.

Reflecting the core motto of Lions Clubs International, “Service Through Leadership,” the organization has been continuously conducting health-related programs to benefit society.
