China Successfully Launches Satellite for Algeria

Jan 31, Kathmandu - China successfully launched a satellite destined for Algeria on Saturday. The launch was carried out at 12:01 AM Beijing Time from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwestern China, using a Long March-2C carrier rocket.

The rocket successfully placed the Algerian satellite into its designated orbit. The primary objectives of this satellite include land planning, natural disaster prevention, risk assessment, and disaster management.

This launch marks China's 629th mission in the Long March rocket series, indicating ongoing advancements in China's space technology capabilities.

The mission also exemplifies China-Algeria space cooperation, opening new opportunities for both nations in the fields of science and technology.
