Feb 01, Kathmandu - Preparations for the ‘Aaha! Rara Gold Cup’ have been completed.

The tournament will be held from Magh 27 to Falgun 9 at the Pokhara Stadium. In the tournament organized by Sahara Club, 12 teams, including four foreign teams and eight domestic teams, will compete for the title.

Nepal Police Club, APF Nepal Club, Machhindra Football Club, Jawalakhel Youth Club, Church Boys United, Manang-Marsyangdi Club, Planning Boys United, Sahara Club Pokhara, among others, will participate in the tournament.

Similarly, two teams from India, including Thunderbolt United (Sikkim), and Uzbekistan’s Abha Football Club and Hong Kong’s Gurkha International Football Club will participate, informed Sahara Club President Keshav Bahadur Thapa.

He said that the club has increased the prize money. The winning team of the tournament will be awarded Rs. 1.4 million and the runner-up Rs. 7 million and 1 million.
