Oli's Proposal for Alliance Rejected by Nepali Communist Leaders Amid Political Tensions

Feb 02, Kathmandu - It has been revealed that CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has proposed an alliance with Nepali Communist Party Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and Co-Coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal. According to sources, both leaders have rejected the proposal even though Oli made the proposal.

According to sources, Oli had called both leaders and proposed an election coordination. However, due to Oli's view on the Genj-Z movement, his recent statements on the movement, and Oli's recent controversial statements, both CPN leaders hesitated to cooperate.

"Due to Oli's recent image and statements, the leaders have come to the conclusion that an alliance with the UML could cause more harm than good to the party," the source said. Oli, who had claimed that there was no possibility of an election on Falgun 21 just a few days ago, is also trying to pressure other party leaders to postpone the election, the source claims.
