Feb 02, Kathmandu - Ten people were injured in an autorickshaw accident in Salyan on Monday afternoon.

The autorickshaw, Ra 1 Ha 2195, coming from Srinagar, Sharada Municipality 1 towards Khalanga, met with an accident near the quarters of the Water Supply and Energy Development Office in Ward 2, Khalanga.

All the injured are being treated at the District Hospital, Salyan, said Dr. Hem Bahadur KC, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Salyan. The accident occurred around 3 pm on Monday.

The autorickshaw, which was carrying 11 people including the driver, lost control and crashed into the road and fell 500 meters below the road. He said that the autorickshaw driver, 25-year-old Arjun Dangi of Sharada Municipality 6, has been taken into custody.
