Softwareica College Celebrates Graduation of Over 450 Students with International Degrees from Coventry University

Feb 02, Kathmandu - Softwareica College of IT and E-Commerce, affiliated with Coventry University in the United Kingdom, celebrated the graduation of over 450 students at a grand ceremony held at 'The Plaza' in Jhamsikhel. The event, titled 'Convocation 2026,' marked a significant milestone for the institution.

The graduates include postgraduate batches 2 and 3, as well as students from Computing and Ethical Hacking batches 32 and 33. All graduating students received internationally recognized degrees accredited by Coventry University.

The convocation was attended by Dr. Rebecca Butler, Academic Dean of Coventry University and Head of the College of Engineering, Science, and Environment, alongside Jasmin Samara, Academic Provost of Coventry University Group. The event also saw the presence of Rajendra Malla, the outgoing President of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce, who congratulated the graduates and highlighted the increasing demand for skilled IT professionals in Nepal and the global market.

Addressing the ceremony, Pramod Poudel, Campus Chief of Softwareica College, expressed pride in the students' achievements. He noted that many students had secured employment even before graduation, reflecting the college’s industry-oriented curriculum, practical learning methods, and strong career support system.

Softwareica College has been establishing itself as an innovative educational institution through programs in Computing, Ethical Hacking, and emerging technologies. The college actively promotes student participation in research, national and international competitions, and global exposure initiatives.
