Feb 02, Kathmandu - Yosoda Foods, a leading producer of ‘Hot and Spicy’ noodles in the Nepali market under the renowned ‘Current’ brand, has officially inaugurated its second retail outlet, ‘Current Mart,’ in Kathmandu. The new branch, located at Katyayani Chowk in Baneshwar, was formally opened on Sunday, marking a significant step in expanding the brand’s presence in the capital.

Following the remarkable success of the first Current Mart in Bhairahawa and increasing consumer demand, the company aims to make all Yosoda Foods products more accessible to Kathmandu residents through this new outlet.

The grand opening ceremony saw Directors Mr. Madhusudan Ghimire and National Sales Manager Yugraj Pande jointly cut the ribbon, symbolizing the beginning of a new chapter for Current Mart in Kathmandu. During the event, Director Ghimire highlighted the concept, objectives, and the customer-centric services of Current Mart to media representatives.

Prominent company Area Sales Managers Sony Pudasaini, Bimala Khatri, and Sapana Bhusal attended the event, along with enthusiastic customers and well-wishers.

Located at Katyayani Chowk, the newly launched Current Mart offers a wide range of Yosoda Foods products under one roof. Customers can find popular items like Current brand noodles (Chow Chow), various snacks, cheese balls, sticks, potato crackers, as well as Current Gold Masala and CTC Chiya. The store also stocks essential spice powders such as cumin powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder.

In his address, Yosoda Foods Chairman Chunn Prasad Poudel expressed his gratitude for the trust and love shown by Bhairahawa consumers, which inspired the company to expand into Kathmandu. “Now, from Katyayani Chowk, consumers can conveniently purchase our fresh and high-quality products,” he stated.

Previously, the company introduced ‘Current Point’ outlets in Kathmandu’s Anamnagar and Shankhamul, offering noodle enthusiasts a taste of new flavors. The opening of Current Mart aims to provide an even more convenient shopping experience for customers seeking packaged foods.
