Feb 03, Kathmandu - The French offices of Elon Musk’s X platform have been raided. The Paris prosecutor’s office said the raids were carried out at the French offices of Musk’s social media platform as part of an investigation opened in January 2025.

The raids were carried out by the prosecutor’s cybercrime unit, a statement said. According to the Paris prosecutor, both X chairman Musk and X’s former chief executive Linda Yaccarino have been summoned to appear at a hearing in April.

X employees will also be questioned as witnesses. Paris prosecutor Laure Becuau said the scope of the investigation into “Grok’s sexual deepfakes” has been broadened.
