Netherlands All Out for 147 against Pakistan

Feb 07, Kathmandu - The Netherlands have set a modest target for Pakistan in the opening match of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, which began today.

After Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first at the Sinhalese Sports Club Cricket Ground in Sri Lanka, the Netherlands, who came in to bat, scored 147 runs in 19.5 overs, losing all their wickets.

Captain Scott Edwards tried to control the team's innings by hitting 37 runs off 29 balls with the help of 3 fours and 1 six. Similarly, Bas de Liedde contributed 30 runs and Michael Levitt contributed an aggressive 24 runs. Towards the last over, Aryan Dutt added 13 runs off 7 balls to make the team's total respectable.
