Escapee from Gen-Z Movement Apprehended in Rautahat

Feb 12, Kathmandu - A prisoner who escaped during the Gen-Z movement has been apprehended in Rautahat.

The Armed Police Force team arrested 27-year-old Sagar Khati BK from Chandrapur Municipality-4, Chandrapur Chowk in Rautahat. According to Armed Police Force Spokesperson Shailendra Thapa, Khati BK was taken into custody by the Nepal Election Security Force team stationed at Santapur, Rautahat.

Khati BK, a resident of Thadatol in Chandrapur, was serving a sentence for drug-related charges.

He had escaped from Jagannathdeval Jail in Kathmandu on Bhadra 24 during the Jenzhi movement.
