Feb 16, Kathmandu - In a significant political development in Rupandehi, a prominent candidate from the People's Socialist Party (Jasapa) Nepal has officially joined the CPN-UML, marking a major shift ahead of the upcoming elections.
Srinivas Yadav, a Central Member of Jasapa Nepal and the candidate from Rupandehi Constituency No. 3, announced his departure from the party on Monday and formally joined the UML. UML Central Member Bhumishwor Dhakal stated that Yadav's entry into the party would guarantee victory for UML in Rupandehi-3.
Yadav, in a press release, emphasized the importance of considering voter sentiment and the current complex national situation. He expressed confidence that the UML would emerge as the leading political force for stability and national resolution.
"From today, I am relinquishing my candidacy and all responsibilities associated with Jasapa Nepal, including my party membership, and I am officially joining UML," Yadav declared.
Party leaders believe this move will significantly strengthen UML’s position in the constituency and impact the national political landscape.
