Feb 19, Kathmandu - Nepali comedy film 'Jhari pachi ko Indreni' has been officially released on YouTube, marking its digital debut after a brief theatrical run. Directed by renowned comedian Arjun Ghimire (Pade), the film was launched on the YouTube channel of senior leader Balen Shah of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).
The movie first hit theatres just two months ago, but following its theatrical success, it was made available online just days after its release on Poush 4. Despite a 51-day theatrical run, the film managed to collect Rs. 1.28 crore at the box office.
Notably, Mayor Balen Shah contributed to the film’s promotion by rapping for the project and actively supporting its marketing efforts. The film's transition from cinema halls to the digital platform underscores its popularity and the growing trend of online releases in Nepal.
