Sri Lanka set Zimbabwe a target of 179 runs

Feb 19, Kathmandu - Hosts Sri Lanka are competing with Zimbabwe in the T20 World Cup.

In the ongoing match at the R Premadasa Stadium, the home team has set a target of 179 runs for Zimbabwe. After winning the toss, Sri Lanka started batting and scored 178 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs.

Pathum Nissanka contributed the most with 62 runs. Similarly, Pavan Rathnayake scored 44, Kusal Perera scored 22, Dunith Wellalage scored 15 and Kusal Mendis scored 14 runs.

Zimbabwe's Blessing Muzarabani, Brad Evans and Graeme Cremer took two wickets each and Ryan Burl took one wicket. Both the teams from this Group 'B' have already made it to the Super Eights.
