Siraha Police Arrest 21-Year-Old Man with Rs. 1.4 Million Cash in Aurahi

Feb 22, Kathmandu - Police have apprehended a 21-year-old man with unaccounted cash totaling Rs. 1.4 million in Aurahi, Siraha.

According to police officials, the individual, Sanjit Kumar Yadav of Shivanagar, Biriyarpatri Municipality-3, Siraaha, was caught by police near Aurahi Chowk, Aurahi Rural Municipality-5, with the large sum of cash.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Ramesh Bahadur Pal of the District Police Office, Siraaha, stated that police personnel, deployed from Aurahi Police Post, arrested Yadav while he was riding a motorcycle bearing registration number Sa.10 Pa 405.

Along with the cash, police also recovered a mobile phone from his possession.

Yadav is currently in police custody at the District Police Office, Siraaha, and further investigation is ongoing.
