Burglary in Kathmandu: Theft of Over NPR 5.65 Million in Broad Daylight

Feb 22, Kathmandu - A major theft has taken place in Kathmandu where burglars broke into a house during broad daylight, stealing valuables worth approximately NPR 5,65,000. The incident occurred at a residence near Government Dhara in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-26.

According to the Kathmandu District Police Office, the thieves forcefully entered the room of 35-year-old Kalika Roka Magar of Baglung, who was residing as a tenant near the Government Dhara, on Saturday afternoon. The suspects broke the door and stole gold and silver jewellery along with cash amounting to roughly NPR 5,65,000.

The police have stated that the individuals involved in the incident are currently at large. An intensive search is underway, and further investigations into the case are ongoing.
