Russian Embassy Honors Pangeni, Who Came Third in International Competition

Feb 26, Kathmandu - Nepal's Anurag Pangeni has been honored by the Russian Embassy in Kathmandu for winning third place in the 2025 International Competition for Anti-Corruption Social Advertising.

Anurag, a 15-year-old student from Nepal, came third in the 10-15 age group under the international competition titled 'Youth, Repair the Cracks in Society'.

Algeria's Fatima Rawan came first in the competition, while Uzbekistan's Sokhjakhon Ablulayev came second.

The Russian Embassy said that Anurag's poster is one of the 'powerful messages and creative expressions' that promote honesty, accountability, and social responsibility among the youth, and that it is a meaningful contribution to the global fight against corruption and an inspiring example of youth leadership's social engagement.

Presenting the medal provided by the organizers, Minister Counselor Rinchen Rashev of the Russian Embassy advised Anurag to continue being creative in the future.

He said that the poster made by Anurag against corruption is a source of inspiration for the youth of the world.

The award-winning Pangeni said that the poster he made against corruption shows Nepali society as a fragile glass structure broken by corruption.
