Gold Price Decreases in Nepali Market

Feb 27, Kathmandu - Today, the price of gold in the local market has decreased slightly, while the price of silver has increased moderately. Compared to Thursday, the price of gold has decreased by Rs 500, while the price of silver has increased by Rs 15.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, today the price of one tola of pure gold has been fixed at Rs 314,900 and the price of one tola of silver has been fixed at Rs 5,740. On Thursday, the price of one tola of gold was fixed at Rs 315,400 and the price of one tola of silver was fixed at Rs 5,725.

Last Wednesday, the price of one tola of pure gold was fixed at Rs 314,900 and the price of one tola of silver was fixed at Rs 5,585. Last Monday, one tola of pure gold was bought and sold at Rs 313,500 and one tola of silver at Rs 5,595.

According to international media, today, one ounce of gold is being traded at US$ 5,187 and the same amount of silver is being traded at US$ 90 in the international market.
