Embassy Urges Nepalese in Israel to be Vigilant

Feb 28, Kathmandu - The Nepali Embassy in Tel Aviv has appealed to Nepali citizens in the Middle East to exercise special caution as the security situation in the region worsens due to rising tensions between Israel and Iran.

Issuing a security advisory on Saturday, the embassy clarified that it is closely monitoring the latest developments. The embassy has urged all Nepalis to strictly follow the instructions of the local ‘Home Front Command’ and security agencies, not to go out unnecessarily and to always have access to safe shelters (bunkers).

In addition, the information has also been asked to trust only official news and to stay in touch with other Nepalese in case of emergency. The embassy has warned against travelling anywhere without permission, as the effects of war are visible across the Middle East following the joint military operation by the US and Israel.
