Mar 05, Kathmandu- Voting for the election of the Provincial Assembly Member was successfully conducted at the district jail in Khandbari, the administrative center of Sankhuwasabha. A total of 33 inmates, listed in the voter registry, cast their votes.

According to Election Officer Shova Dahal, all 33 inmates voted from the temporary polling center set up within the jail.

Dahal further informed that among the voters, 28 were men and 5 women. As of 12 noon, a total of 51 inmates had cast their votes from the temporary polling center. The district has a total of 1,397 temporary voters registered for this election.
