Mar 05, Kathmandu - President Ram Chandra Paudel and Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav did not participate in the voting process of today's parliamentary elections.
According to President Paudel's Press Advisor, Kiran Pokhrel, the President, being the protector of the constitution and the guardian of the nation, decided not to cast his vote to maintain his impartial stance. It is noted that during previous elections, President Paudel cast his vote from the Satyawati Secondary School polling station in Tanahun, his home district.
Similarly, Vice President Yadav also refrained from participating in the voting process due to his adherence to constitutional neutrality, as confirmed by his Press Advisor, Dinesh Yadav. In past elections, Vice President Yadav cast his vote from the Bas Puriya polling station in Bara.
