Suspicious Objects Found Near Gilaha Voting Center in Mughu, Disarmed by Nepali Army

Mar 05, Kathmandu - Mugu's Soru Rural Municipality-8, near Baljyoti Secondary School, has reported the discovery of suspicious objects near the Gilaha voting center. The Nepali Army has successfully disarmed the devices.

Two separate suspicious objects resembling bombs were found close to the election booth, prompting the Nepali Army to step in and neutralize the threats. Following rumors of a bomb near the voting center, voters experienced brief anxiety.

According to the District Police Office Mugu, a team from the Nepali Army arrived at the scene immediately after receiving reports of the suspicious objects and safely disarmed them.

The police clarified that despite rumors of bombs, nothing was found during disarmament. It is also reported that voter turnout was relatively low following the scare.
