TIA Advises Transit Passengers to Confirm Bookings Amid Flight Disruptions in Middle East

Mar 05, Kathmandu - Due to ongoing flight restrictions in the Middle East, several international flights have been canceled or affected, impacting travel schedules. In response, Tribhuvan International Airport has issued a notice urging transit passengers arriving from or passing through the Middle East to arrive at the airport only after confirming their tickets.

The airport office stated that, amidst the restrictions, some airlines are operating connecting flights through third countries via Middle Eastern airports to Nepal, and vice versa. Passengers traveling from third countries through the Middle East to Nepal, or from Nepal to third countries via the region, are advised to coordinate with their airlines and confirm their bookings before arriving at the airport.

The office emphasized the importance of travelers checking flight statuses in advance to avoid unnecessary hassle and inconvenience. Passengers are encouraged to contact their respective airlines timely to ensure smooth travel arrangements during this period.
