Mar 07, Kathmandu - Buddha Ratna Maharjan of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has emerged victorious in Lalitpur-1 with a total of 23,373 votes.

According to Election Officer Isha Subedi, Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court, Maharjan secured his win by defeating Uday Shamsher Rana of the Nepali Congress by a margin of 9,853 votes.

Rana received 13,520 votes, while Chetanath Sanjel of the CPN-UML finished third with 6,546 votes.

In this electoral area, a total of 77,737 voters were registered, with 52,632 votes cast. Out of the votes cast, 2,049 were invalidated.
