Senior Vice Chairman of RPP, Rabindra Mishra, Resigns from Party Responsibilities

Mar 07, Kathmandu - Rabindra Mishra, senior vice president of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), announced his resignation from all party responsibilities. He made the announcement via a Facebook status on Saturday morning, stating that his resignation is effective from today.

In his statement, Misra wrote, “Effective from today, I am resigning from all responsibilities within the party. My stance on issues such as the restoration of the monarchy and good governance remains unchanged. For the time being, I will voice my views and standpoints independently, outside of party lines.”

Mishra, who was a Member of the House of Representatives from Kathmandu-1, was defeated in the election. This marks his third consecutive defeat in that constituency.
