Mar 07, Kathmandu - In the recent parliamentary election, Ashish Gajurel of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) emerged victorious in Sindhuli-2. According to the Election Commission, Gajurel secured 17,940 votes in the counting held on Saturday, Falgun 23.
His closest competitor, Lekhnath Dahal of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), received 14,780 votes, while Manoj Jung Thapa of CPN (UML) garnered 11,606 votes.
Other candidates included Sushila Thing of the Nepali Congress, who received 6,760 votes, and independent candidate Maheshwor Dahal, who secured 586 votes.
