Mar 07, Kathmandu - Hari Bhusal, the candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has won the Arghakhanchi seat under the House of Representatives election. He was elected as an MP by securing 35,023 votes in the counting of votes held on Saturday (Falgun 23).
His closest rival, CPN (UML) candidate Pitambar Bhusal, secured 22,649 votes. Nepali Congress candidate Bishnu Prasad Khanal, who came in third, received 18,983 votes, according to the Office of the Returning Officer.
