Mar 07, Kathmandu - Sobita Gautam of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has emerged victorious in the election for the Member of Parliament representing Chitwan-3. The Election Office announced that she secured 59,277 votes.

In the same constituency, Renu Dahal of the Nepali Communist Party received 20,615 votes, while Tek Prasad Gurung of the Nepali Congress garnered 8,344 votes. Shankar Raju Thapaliya of CPN (UML) obtained 5,404 votes, and Deepak Thapa Magar of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party received 1,226 votes.

There were a total of 155,212 registered voters in the constituency, out of which 133, votes were cast. Additionally, 3,375 votes were invalidated.
