Mar 08, Kathmandu - Gauri Kumari of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been declared the winner of the House of Representatives election from Morang-4, according to the Chief Election Officer Madhav Prasad Adhikari.
As per the vote count completed on Sunday, Kumari garnered 30,132 votes, securing a decisive victory in the constituency. Her main competitor, Surendra Kumar Yadav of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), received 8,745 votes. Other candidates included Nilam Adhikari from the CPN-UML, who secured 6,944 votes, and Mahendra Kumar Rai of the Nepali Congress, who received 6,192 votes.
Kumari's win marks a significant achievement for the RSP in the region.
