Shram Sanskriti Party Secures Three Direct Seats and Over 300,000 Votes in Proportional Representation

Mar 09, Kathmandu - The Shram Sanskriti Party, which won three seats in the direct election, has received three hundred thousand votes in the proportional election.

With the counting of 8,848,148 votes, Shram Sanskriti has received three hundred eight thousand 656 votes. This is about three and a half percent of the votes counted. To get a seat in the proportional election, more than three percent of the total votes must be received. The Rastriya Prajatantra Party, which is following Shram Sanskriti, has received two hundred ninety thousand 71 votes.

The Rastriya Swatantra Party has received 4.2 million votes, the Nepali Congress has received 1.4 million votes, the CPN-UML has received 12 million votes, and the Nepali Communist Party has received more than 6 million votes. In the direct election, the Shram Sanskriti chairmen Hark Sampang, Aren Rai, and Dhruvraj Rai have been elected. The Shram Sanskriti candidate is in second place in Ilam-1.
