Gold and Silver Prices Surge in Local Market

Mar 10, Kathmandu - The prices of gold and silver have increased in the local market today. Compared to Monday, the price of gold has risen by Rs 3,800 per tola, while silver has increased by Rs 310 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the price of 24-karat pure gold stands at Rs 317,000 per tola today. Silver is priced at Rs 5,720 per tola. Yesterday, on Monday, gold was traded at Rs 313,200 per tola, and silver at Rs 5,410 per tola.

International media reports indicate that the global market prices for gold and silver are also on the rise. Today, one ounce of gold is traded at $5,141, and the same amount of silver is valued at $87.5.
