Head of Election Commission Thanks Staff for Successful Conduct Amid Challenges

Mar 10, Kathmandu - Acting Chief Election Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari expressed his gratitude to the dedicated government employees who worked tirelessly to ensure the election was completed despite adverse conditions.

Addressing the farewell ceremony for staff involved in the election process today, Bhandari highlighted the challenges faced after the announcement of the election by the President on Falgun 21 and emphasized the collective effort to carry out the election within six months.

“After the incidents on Bhadra 23 and 24, security was a major concern, and for a month following the election announcement, parties could not even sit together. He also informed that the commission is preparing to submit the final report to the President.
