Mar 12, Kathmandu - Authorities in Kanchanpur have arrested two individuals in connection with the alleged rape of a minor. The suspects, identified as 40-year-old Hira Nath from Bhimdutta Municipality-9 and 47-year-old Naresh Nath from Bhimdutta Municipality-10, were taken into custody after being accused of kidnapping the minor into the Baijnath Community Forest in Bhimdutta Municipality-10 and assaulting her.

According to District Police Office Kanchanpur Inspector Birendra Thapa, the arrests were made based on a police report filed regarding the incident. An investigation is currently underway to gather further details.

“Police are conducting a thorough investigation,” Inspector Thapa stated. “We are actively probing the case after receiving the complaint about the assault within the forest area.”
