Ultra Running Team Leaves for India

Mar 13, Kathmandu - A five-member Nepali team, including four athletes, has left for India to participate in the IAU 50 km World Championships.

The Nepali team left for New Delhi, India, on Friday for the competition. The team has two male and two female athletes for the competition to be held on Saturday.

The team includes Tilak Bahadur Sunuwar and Remesh Limbu for the men's side and Sunsari Rokaya and Lakpa Nigma Sherpa for the women's side. The team manager is Rajan Khatri, Senior Vice President of the Nepal Adventure Running Federation.

Wishing the team success, National Sports Council member Sant Kumar Mehta bid farewell at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Friday.
