Government's to Take Initiative in Rescue of Nepalese from War-affected Areas

Mar 15, Kathmandu - The government has decided to take the initiative for the rescue and relief of Nepalese stranded in war-torn West Asian countries.

The cabinet meeting held in Baluwatar on Sunday decided that the embassies and consulates in Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Kuwait, Muscat, Islamabad, Cairo and Tel Aviv will take the initiative for rescue and relief.

Government spokesperson and Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, while announcing the decision of the cabinet, said that the Nepal government has also decided to start work on the rescue and relief of those stranded along with the embassies and consulates in the concerned countries.
