Mar 15, Kathmandu - Interim Prime Minister Sushila Karki appointed her personal secretary, Adarsh Kumar Shrestha, as the Chairperson of the National Trust for Nature Conservation.

Sources from the Prime Minister's Office confirm that the appointment was made in accordance with the established procedures for such nominations.

According to the National Nature Conservation Fund Act, 2039, the Prime Minister serves as the protector of the fund and holds the authority to appoint its chairperson. This appointment marks a significant step in the government's efforts to strengthen environmental conservation initiatives.
