Mar 15, Kathmandu - The teaser of the film ‘Pahad’ directed by Tulsi Ghimire has been released. The teaser depicts the hills that have become empty due to the migration of young people abroad and the social and economic problems it brings.

Director Ghimire said that the hills where our ancestors dedicated their lives have now become deserted. ‘The hills are a very beautiful place, our ancestors dedicated their lives to making them beautiful,’ he said, ‘But, recently, the same hills have become deserted, young people have migrated, migrated for employment. We have prepared the story of the film by connecting this.’

The film will be released on Baisakh 1 next year 2083. The film features actors including Madan Krishna Shrestha, Shiva Shrestha, Sunil Thapa, Bipin Karki, Renunath Yogi, Arun Chhetri, Rabindra Singh Baniya, Uma Giri.

Director Ghimire has made her youngest daughter Panchami Ghimire's acting debut through this film. The film, which is being shot by Pramod Pradhan, is produced under the banner of Bhagya Ratna Films.

The film, which is presented by Uttam Rasaili, is produced by Surendra Lama Thing, Ojaswi KC, Rimpoche Lama Thing and Uma Giri.
