Mar 16, Kathmandu - Elected representative Ashika Tamang has issued an urgent directive to halt illegal sand and gravel extraction activities from the Trishuli River in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality–9. 

Sharing the information via her social media platform Facebook, MP Tamang emphasized that any activity violating the law will not be tolerated. She reaffirmed her commitment to serve the people who entrusted her with their votes, stating that protecting public interests and natural resources is her top priority.

Tamang also warned that any individuals or organizations disregarding her order or showing negligence will face legal action.

"Respecting the trust of the people, I will always remain committed to conserving our natural resources," she stated.
