Gold and Silver Prices See Slight Rise in Local Markets

Mar 17, Kathmandu - In the local markets today, the prices of gold and silver have experienced a modest increase. Gold per tola has risen by NPR 400, while silver has increased by NPR 70.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the current price of standard gold stands at NPR 3,090,900 per tola. Silver is priced at NPR 5,335 per tola today.

Yesterday, the price of standard gold was NPR 3,090,500 per tola, and silver was valued at NPR 5,265. On Sunday, gold traded at NPR 3,090,400 per tola, with silver at NPR 5,270.

International media reports indicate that today, the global market price for one ounce of gold is approximately USD 1,530, while the same amount of silver is trading at around USD 80.
