PM Sushila Karki Visits Janaki Temple for Religious Ceremony

Mar 20, Kathmandu - Interim Prime Minister Sushila Karki paid a visit to Janaki Temple in Janakpur, marking her first trip to the city since assuming leadership of the interim government on Chaitra 6. The Prime Minister arrived via Janakpur Airport and performed religious puja at the historic temple.

Following the ceremony, Karki met with local priests and monks at the temple. She clarified that her visit was solely for religious purposes and emphasized that she is not a political figure in this context.

After her visit to Janakpur, the Prime Minister is scheduled to travel to Mahottari, where she will inspect the Nigaul Gai Gaushala at Gausala in Gaur, marking her upcoming engagement in the region.
