Mar 22, Kathmandu - Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has exchanged Eid and Nowruz greetings with President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian of Iran, expressing hope that the festive season ushers in peace, stability, and prosperity across West Asia. 

In the talks, Modi condemned recent attacks on critical infrastructure in the region, highlighting their threat to regional stability and global supply chains. He reiterated the importance of safeguarding freedom of navigation and maintaining secure shipping lanes. 

PM Modi also appreciated Iran’s ongoing support for the safety and security of Indian nationals residing in Iran, emphasizing the strong bilateral ties amid regional challenges.
