Mar 23, Kathmandu - NIC Asia Capital Limited has organized a program on currency market and capital market literacy at Melamchi Valley Campus in Sindhupalchowk on the occasion of Global Money Week-2026.
Capital, which has been conducting various programs under its corporate social responsibility, organized the program in continuation of the same work.
In the program, Mr. Damodar Rayamajhi, Chief Merchant Banking Officer of Capital, gave a presentation based on the theme of “Smart Money Tax” and informed about ways to save from student life and ways to invest small amounts in a simple way. He also provided detailed information about the process of opening a bank and demat account, primary shares, secondary market, money market instruments, collective investment funds, SIPs and issues to be considered while investing in listed companies.
Similarly, information was also provided on AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing Control) issues in the program. Finally, discussions and interactions were held between the participating students and teachers on various aspects of currency and capital markets. More than 220 students, teachers, and campus staff participated in the program.
