Mar 24, Kathmandu - Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa is scheduled to participate in today's meeting.

Today, the meeting will be chaired by President Thapa himself and he is expected to share his views on the background of his resignation and the party's defeat in the election.

Similarly, he is also scheduled to speak about the party's future direction and priorities in the central committee meeting.

It is also said that this meeting of the Congress may take a decision on the party's regular general convention. The Congress is set to prepare to hold the 15th general convention by the upcoming Asoj.

Earlier, the central committee meetings held on Friday and Sunday had rejected President Thapa's resignation.
