Mar 24, Kathmandu - The Nepal Students Union (NSU) at Trichandra College has collectively signed a petition demanding the immediate public release of the Karki Commission's report. The students gathered on Tuesday to urge authorities to disclose the report, which they say is crucial for transparency and accountability.
Gobinda Koirala, President of the Autonomous Students Union (ASU) at Trichandra College, emphasized that the government cannot hide the report any longer. “The second major task of the Karki government after the elections was to make this report public. The government must not conceal it,” Koirala stated.
He further added, “Today, we collected signatures peacefully, and we will submit this to the Prime Minister. If the report is not made public soon, we will consider launching a movement to demand transparency.”
The students warned that if the report is not disclosed promptly, they are prepared to intensify their protests.
