Clashes in South Lebanon Claim Lives of Israeli Soldiers and United Nations Peacekeepers

Mar 31, Kathmandu - In recent clashes in South Lebanon, four Israeli soldiers have been killed and two others injured, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The IDF announced the details via Telegram, stating that two of the injured soldiers have been hospitalized, with one in critical condition. Additionally, a reserve soldier was among those wounded.

Meanwhile, the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) reported the death of three peacekeepers amid the ongoing violence.

In response, the IDF has stated that a thorough investigation is underway to determine whether the incidents were caused by Hezbollah attacks or Israeli military operations. The military emphasized that the events took place within active conflict zones and cautioned against directly attributing the casualties among peacekeepers to IDF actions.
