Apr 03, Kathmandu - On Friday, gold prices in the Nepali market remained steady, while silver prices experienced a slight increase. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Federation, gold is currently trading at NPR 294,000 per tola.
Meanwhile, silver has seen some upward movement, with the price reaching NPR 4,830 per tola.
On Thursday, the price of gold dropped by NPR 3,600 per tola, trading at NPR 294,000. The day before, on Wednesday, gold prices increased by NPR 7,400 per tola, reaching NPR 297,600.
Similarly, the price of silver decreased by NPR 165 per tola on Thursday, falling to NPR 4,780. On Wednesday, silver was priced at NPR 4,945 per tola.
Notably, on Magh 15, the price of gold surged by NPR 20,500 in a single day, reaching NPR 339,300 per tola. This remains the highest recorded price for gold in the Nepali market to date.
Regarding silver, its price fell by NPR 1,565 per tola on Magh 18, marking a significant decline, the largest in recent times. On Magh 15, silver reached an all-time high of NPR 7,505 per tola.
