Apr 04, Kathmandu - As the new academic session kicks off on Baisakh 2, the Janak Education Material Center is rapidly distributing printed school textbooks across various regions of the country. Since initiating distribution on Chaitra 16, the center has sold over 2.5 million textbooks within just five days.
Yadunath Poudel, Managing Director of the center, stated that production has been completed, and distribution has commenced to ensure students receive their textbooks before the new school year begins. Education Minister Sasmit Pokhrel visited the center’s office and press facilities in Bhaktapur on Friday to oversee the progress.
During the visit, officials briefed the minister on the production status, reaffirming their commitment to prevent any shortage of textbooks during the upcoming academic session.
